Pastor Theodoris Young
Theodoris Young was born on June 20, 1970 to the late Bishop Theophilus Augustus Earnest Price and First Lady Marie Joyce Price. She was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at the age of 5. She also began playing the piano at 5 years of age and directed the children’s choir.
In addition, she held many positions such as a Sunday school teacher, choir director, family activity coordinator, and worked in the church treasury department.
She is a graduate of Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), with an Associate degree in fashion, and started a maternity clothing line. Theodoris always had an entrepreneurial mindset and also received her cosmetology license, and started her hair salon, International HAIRitage. In 2016, she cofounded I Am Enough Jewelry, a handcrafted jewelry line that is made to inspire everyone who wears it.
In 1999, she got married and had two sons. Aaron Young was born October 1, 2000, and Isaac Young was Born October 15, 2002.
After the Lord called her father, Bishop Price to glory in 2008, Theodoris and her sister Theadra Price were anointed to become co-pastors of the Light of the World Church. She also lost her youngest son, Isaac in a tragic car accident, in 2009, but has found a renewed passion and zeal for life. In spite of tragedy and loss, Theodoris continues to be a beacon of hope to inspire everyone who has experienced loss, pain and grief and let’s them know that life will get better.
Pastor Theodoris has a love for God’s people and encourages everyone to enjoy the life God has given them by traveling, spending time with family, and practicing self-care. She believes that we should go love, go reach, and go teach others so we can win souls for Christ.
Pastor Theadra Price
Theadra Joyce Price was born on December 18, 1972 to the late Bishop Theophilus Augustus Earnest Price and First Lady Marie Joyce Price. As a young child, she would often “play church” on the front steps as she loved to sing, dance, and praise God from an early age. She was saved at the age of 7.
Theadra faithfully served the body of Christ under the leadership of Bishop Price at Light of the World Cathedral Church. She held many positions such as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, and youth director. She was soon elevated to be the co-chairman of the PYPU for the Northern region of California.
She is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Family Studies. Theadra continued to flourish and was called into ministry at the age of 22. Soon after, she became the Chaplain of the Northern California District Council (NCDC). She was later married and became the mother to London Marie Akinsete in 2007.
After the Lord called her father, Bishop Price to glory in 2008, Theadra and sister Theodoris Young were anointed to become co-pastors of the Light of the World Church. Over the past ten years, Theadra has continued to thrive as a dynamic woman of God, preacher, singer, teacher, and leader. In addition to Pastoring, she currently serves as a board member for Valley Christian Junior High School.
